Author’s Note

Firstly, let me tell you a little bit of myself. I live in Cape Town, which happens to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. So lucky me! 😉

Mmm… so what do I do, let’s see, I have a degree in IT Management, so I work in the IT field. I am also a dance student at a Performing Arts School majoring in Hip Hop and Ballet.  I love the arts and culture, my favourite pastime is playing the piano as well as reading LOTS of books.

Ok, enough about me, now for my blog:

This blog was created to share my love for books, why I read and what my favourite books are as well as who my favourite authors are.  I will tell you what books are worth reading and what you should never have picked up in the first place 🙂

I don’t really have a favourite genre to read, however, I do prefer adult fiction novels though. I believe reading books open up your imagination to worlds unseen, a world that takes you to the core of excitement – getting lost into a book, experiencing the magical world of literature is one of my favourite things to do, living the characters brings up a feeling that is beyond description. I basically eat, sleep and breathe books. You will never find me without a book…

So yes, you get it – I LOVE BOOKS! If you love it too or if you simply just interested, please follow my blog and share your love for books with me.

xoxo

  1. Thank you so much for this wonderful blog and for visiting my blog and liking my poem. It really cheered me up 🙂 I’m going to take a hint from the universe and hit a few books on my to read list. Thanks again and happy blogging

    • Hi Hannah, thank you so much for this kind gesture. Wow, where are you from? I checked to see if you put where you from on your About page but no lol. Do you know where in Cape Town. If you ever find yourself in Cape Town, we should definitely meet as fellow bloggers 🙂

    • Thank you for the reference, I read up a brief description of this novel and it is something that definitely interest me, so I will add it to my to read list 🙂
